Happy May, though
it sure feels more like July these days! I
remember camping out at Ginnie Springs years ago
on Memorial Day weekend and it being quite
chilly in the evenings, so I'm holding on to the
hope that we'll get a break from this heat
before the real summer heat comes
along!
In this short but sweet
newsletter, Take Away Gourmet is announcing
recently implemented improvements to the website
to enhance your shopping experience. We
hope you like...
·I've included the nutritional
data for all the Cook & Serve meals
for the May menu. I'm still working on
updating all the Heat & Serve meals with the
nutritional data...coming soon.
·You now
have the opportunity to select the
desired starch for each applicable meal
at the time you place your order! This
will make your pick-up time quicker and
easier.
·I've added a new category
under both Cook & Serve and Heat & Serve
to denote Gluten-Free meals. No more guess work when placing an
order. To determine gluten-free dishes, I
analyze the ingredients of each recipe and check
these items against this list: celiac.com website. I hope
this helps.
·I've also added a salad category! You can now add a salad
to your order. I've got a few more to add,
but I got the process started. I'll also
start stocking fresh salads in the Grab & Go
refrigerator, for those who want to by-pass
ordering ahead.
I'll continue to roll out
more improvements as time allows. We're
staying busy filling prepared meal orders and
catering jobs, but I'm committed to continuously
improving the website and your shopping
experience!
